Switchly Tag

NFC tags are shipped with the selected action and can be rewritten later in Switchly. QR tags permanently use the selected action in the printed code. Own compatible NFC tags can also be configured in the app.

NFC + QR
Type iChoose NFC for tap actions that can be rewritten later, or QR for a visible scan code.

NFC works well for fast tap actions and is the more flexible choice because it can be rewritten later in the app.

Shape iMini is compact, Normal is easier to hit on fixed spots, and Keychain is portable.
Add-ons iMagnets add a magnetic back. TPU rubber feet add a non-slip base for Mini and Normal tags.
Action iThis is the Switchly action the tag will trigger. NFC can be rewritten later; QR is printed with this action.
NFC construction iLid keeps the NFC sticker accessible. Solid is closed and cleaner. Keychain NFC tags are always Solid.

Best for clean indoor use.

Small physical tags for Switchly actions.

Switchly Tags are intentionally simple: no battery, no account requirement and no cloud dependency for the tag itself. They are optional - compatible writable NFC tags can work too - but these are designed, self-printed and packed in small batches in Austria.

Technology Passive NFC or printed QR

NFC tags can be rewritten later in Switchly. QR tags are printed with the selected action.

Power No battery

NFC and QR tags do not need charging, pairing, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

Shapes Mini, Normal, Keychain

Mini is compact, Normal is easier to hit, and Keychain is made for portable use.

Materials PLA or PETG

PLA is best for indoor setups. PETG is tougher for heat, humidity, keychains and outdoor spots.

Add-ons Magnets or TPU feet

Magnets and TPU feet are optional for Mini and Normal NFC or QR tags. They are not shown for Keychain.

Compatibility Android + Switchly

NFC requires an NFC-capable Android device. QR tags can be scanned with the app camera flow.

Bring your own tag Official tags are optional

Compatible writable NFC tags can be configured in Switchly too. Official Switchly Tags are mainly the nicer printed option and support development directly.
